Engineering Methodology:
Feasibility study, complete project management including: engineering,
construction supervision, and startup assistance.
Construction Contracts: All contracts were lump sum, bid
at the same time. The project was completed within original budget,
31 months from start of feasibility study.

Principal Features:

Covered bulk storage building 170 ft. wide by 1368 ft. long
with 14 compartments and expansion capability to 2,600 feet.

Portal scraper allowing 100% live storage and first in - first
out inventory control.

Luffing stackers inside building for dust-free storage to prevent
air pollution.

System flexibility permits handling 3 different materials at
the same time.

Vehicle loading and unloading stations can accommodate all
types of rail cars and trucks.

Dust control systems.

Quadrant type shiploader.

Handling rates:
- Rail and truck unloading at 1200 TPH.
- Rail and truck loading at 1400 TPH.
- Barge and ship loading at 1400 TPH.
